Below you will find directions on a few phone functions. Anything in [ these ] brackets denotes a button on your phone and anything in < these > brackets denotes a variable such as the extension or phone number of your choice.
Making a Phone Call
For those WITH a == DIAL OUT == button:
(Fix Auto, Chinook Equipment, Subaru, National, Ultimate Auto Care, Fix Auto)
1. Pick up the phone handset
2. Press the ==Dial Out== button to stamp the call display information on the call
3. Press 8 for an outside line
4. Dial the number you wish to call.
**Failing to press the == Dial Out == button will result in your call appearing to be from a random country and will likely go unanswered.
For those WITHOUT a == DIAL OUT == button:
(All other locations)
1. Pick up the phone handset
2. Press 8 for an outside line
3. Dial the number you wish to call.
Calling an Extension
Employee extensions are located in the Who's Who on the Davis Dashboard (HR4)
Pick up the phone handset
Dial the extension you wish to call.
Move Extension (aka walking extension)
Perform this key combination on the phone you want to use. This will swap the two extensions and all of the settings associated with the extension.
1. Press SP-PHONE
2. Dial * 7 2 7
3. Input your extension # (The extension you want to move)
4. Then 1234 for the PIN
Program One-Touch Dial on Phone
External Number:
[PROG] [desired button] 2 <8or9 + phone number> [ENTER] <type name> [ENTER]
(the 8 or 9 will be what your location uses to get an outside line)
Extension Number in your Building:
[PROG] [desired button] 1 <extension> [ENTER] <type name> [ENTER]
Extension Number in another building with Panasonic phones:
[PROG] [desired button] 2 <extension> [ENTER] <type name> [ENTER]
Call forwarding
[FWD/DND] [EDIT] [SEL](until 'Fwd All:' is displayed) <type destination number> [ENTER]

Forward all calls to voicemail: <Enter your locations 4 digit voicemail extension> See voicemail extensions below
Forward all calls to external line (such as a cell phone): <8 + phone number>
Forward all calls to an extension: <Enter the 4 digit extension number>
Forward all calls to voicemail: <Enter your locations 4 digit voicemail extension> See voicemail extensions below

NOTE: To turn call forwarding on/off, you have to press the FWD/DND button on your phone twice. Pressing the button once will tell you the state, and subsequent presses will toggle the state.
Conference In Additional Callers
- While on a call, press [CONF] (caller is put on hold)
- Dial <8 + phone number> or <extension> (if they answer, you are now talking to the new person)
- Press [CONF] to add the first party to your call (all three parties are now talking)
- Press [CONF] and hang up. You have left the conference; both other callers are still connected.
Note: You can keep adding additional callers by pressing [CONF] and dialing numbers or extensions.
